CHAPTER 39 – TIZZY ESTY WENT TO KOREA!

Well up up in the sky, I was on my way to KOREA!
Oh! The nice breezy weather and the clear blue sky.
Esty was in a tizzy!
The naughty brother was sitting right next to me.
My baby Apple is definitely a MUST to make my trip easier! The apps in it were very much helpful.
It was close to a 4hours flight to Hong Kong, then only the transit to Seoul, Korea.
But I was wide awake during the whole flight, and wasn’t sleepy at all.
Certainly NOT as sleepy as the guy behind me. *giggles*
Cathay Pacific’s In-flight meal that day was pretty good.
Or maybe it was just my mood. =)
Watched a romance comedy after that.
Half way through at the Hong Kong International Airport, which also famously referred to as Chek Lap Kok Airport.
Still looking energetic aren’t I? Trust me I was exhausted when I finally touched down in Seoul another few hours later.
Comfortably seated myself right in front of the huge Samsung LCD TV while waiting for the transit.
One of the famous Hong Kong comedy shows that I quite enjoy watching.

CHAPTER 17 – MY LUCKY FLIGHT TO GUANGZHOU

It was just about 2 months ago when I went on a trip to Guangzhou, visiting the Canton Fair (known as the largest China import and export fair), and discovering the best Cantonese delicacies in the city itself.
My favorite travel wallet where I keep my passport, boarding pass, and other important documents.
Was surprised to see that just how cute my flight to Guangzhou is.
Air Asia’s Junior Jet Club. Adorable, isn’t it? *grins*
I saw my little red luggage! Just right there, sandwiched in the middle.
And surprisingly enough, I was on cloud nine to know that my friend was the co-pilot to fly the plane to Guangzhou when the Captain announced who his First Officer was.
So we ended up chatting away at the back of the aircraft, and I was introduced to the hot cabin crews on board.
Oh lucky me!
Carts of warmly kept delicious in-flight meal.
They were so nice to give me a box of Krispy Kreme, a cup of hot coffee, and a bottle of water.
Guess my flight wasn’t so boring afterall.
Yummy Yum! Everything tastes extremely good when you’re flying on a plane.
And then I was invited into the cockpit!
It’s my turn to control the flight deck.
Hello there sexy pilot, Edmund Tan!
Arrived safely in Guangzhou. *flying kisses*
Salute to the pilots who flew us there safely.
Oh did I mention that the landing was perfectly smooth too? 
Captain and the co-pilot. *winks*
And then…
My Very First Meal in Guangzhou!
The famous Fast-Chinese-Food chain in China, the “真功夫”.
Looked like a KFC to me, but indeed they serve undeniably good Chinese food!
My Dinner Set. Well, supper actually.
Fragrant steamed rice.
Delectable steamed pork cake with preserved vegetables in it.
Mouth-watering chicken herbal soup that I was happily slurping away.
Silky smooth steamed egg that was extremely irresistible.
Another dish of heavenly steamed pork.
Well-seasoned steamed vegetables.
Little curry fishballs.
Literally means “Real KungFu”.
Happily stuffing myself in Guangzhou.
At first I thought that was a beansprout in that bowl of steamed egg.
Then only I found out that it’s a cute little fresh Anchovy!

CHAPTER 7 – I WAS IN GUANGZHOU, CHINA.
May 6th
Hello there stranger.
I’m back!
Again.
Just touched down KL not too long ago.
Was in GuangZhou for the past 5 days and boy it was UNFORGETTABLE!
The worst city I’ve ever been to. Frankly.
CULTURE SHOCK MAX!
The locals suck.
Not all. But most of them.
They are loud, rude, and UNHYGIENIC!
I literally have to keep looking down on the streets everywhere I go just to make sure I did not step on any disgusting greenish-yellowish phlegms.
OOwH ya. They SPIT e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e!
Men and women. Middle-aged mostly.
NOT only that.
I wasn’t allow to take pictures in half of the places I went.
Especially along the street markets, or the food stalls. I wonder why.
Got scolded several times because I just would not STOP trying.
Definitely need a hidden spy cam on my hat or something.
And in GuangZhou, you can’t log in to Twitter or Facebook.
I had VERY STRONG wi-fi SIGNAL in my room and imagine how frustrating that is when I can’t tweet!
Now, the BAI YUN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Worst airport EVAR!
I have never in my life queued up for more than an hour in an airport just to get through the custom check!
And I nearly missed my flight!
Imagine the freaking LONG QUEUE!
Well for once, thank God we have the always-flight-delayed-AirAsia.
Despite all squawky dissatisfaction above…
I still consider myself lucky to get to travel there.
As long as the grumble goes…
GuangZhou brings you UNDENIABLY good food!
It was awesome fun to go food-hunting all the way.
Not to mention that there’re beautiful architectures and buildings that I was pretty much in awe of.
Especially this particular one.
Well.

CHAPTER 3 – LEAVING ON A JET PLANE

LATER. AT 3p.m.
And guess what?! It’s already past midnight and I’m still searching through my walk-in wardrobe and dumping everything into the big luggage!
Scarfs – checked
Jackets - checked
Furry gloves – checked
Skin care – checked
Cosmetics – checked
Contact lenses – checked
Toothbrush – checked
Socks – checked
Camera charger – checked
What else? WHAT ELSE???
Oh wait.
My INHALER! *Whispers ‘Thank God’ and throws it into handbag*
See!
Last minute is never a good idea.
But ANYWAY…
I’m still super excited!
Can’t wait to see the cherry blossom trees and have delicious authentic Korean food!
