CHAPTER 23 – BUKA PUASA RAMADHAN BUFFET AT INTAI-INTAI, AMPANG.
Aug 13th
One of the best places I’ve tried so far to break the Ramadhan fast!
Or simply…”Buka Puasa”.
ROMANTICALLY.
Only at RM48 nett.
The Intai-Intai restaurant.
Located in an isolated yet incredibly breath-taking place at Ampang.
Undeniably in awe to see the big pond that could calm everyone while they dine.
Was strolling down the pathway listening to the chirping birds behind the woods before the sun sets.
The floating restaurant.
You can hear the fishes jumping once in a while.
I’m sure they’re hundreds of them in it.
Stunning table settings I must say, with a touch of Tropical feel that enhanced the romantic ambience.
The wooden pathway.
A huge mirror that I adore.
Wish I can have one as big as this at home.
The carved antique wooden chair.
Just perfect for two.
Gorgeous flowers can be seen everywhere around the restaurant.
A bigger table by the pond.
Different table settings. More elegant.
Casual family gatherings.
The Surau.
Ivory white flowers and little shimmering balls dangling from above.
A big rock in the middle of the restaurant.
Lovely table settings by the craft partition.
The Balinese colorful lanterns.
The big rattan chair.
Wooden sofa set exquisitely decorated in the restaurant.
Intai-Intai’s cat spotted! Adorable, isn’t she?
Chandelier at night.
Huge Rattan lantern.
Behind the scene. Love to see the professionals doing their job.
The passionate chef behind all these delicious yet heavenly Malay-Thai cuisine.
Time to dig in!
Drooling over the sumptuous Ramadhan feast.
Beautifully-lit candles that dimmed the surroundings romantically.
Jugs of thirst-quenching fresh fruit juice.
Poo Chai – Deep Fried Stuffed Crabs served with crunchy Pamelo Salad.
Stuffed with mouth-watering and juicy minced crab meat.
The Pamelo Salad that goes incredibly well with the stuffed crab.
The Sotong Sumbat Thai
This. This…I tell you, is HEAVENLY!
Not to forget it’s first come first served basis. Better go early while stock lasts.
The Rendang Chicken. More rice? =)
Thai style steamed Siakap
Seafood Fried Rice.
Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables with Dried Shrimp.
Huge fan of Lady’s Fingers. Definitely one of my favorite dish of the night!
Kerabu Dagin Bakar Thai
Crunchy Fried Butter Prawns
Beef Green Curry
Addictive Thai Soup
Fried Kai Lan with Garlic
Thai Pandan Chicken
Everybody loves their Pandan Chicken.
Desserts, desserts and MORE UNIQUE THAI DESSERTS!
Sira Ubi Kayu
Sago Yat Sai
Tako
Pumpkin Pudding Sakaya
The famous Thai sticky rice with Mango
A huge mug of thick coffee that definitely helps you stay awake after a huge dinner like this!
I love their coffee so much! It’s so creamy and it’s not sweet. Taste really really good. *slurps*
The spectacular night view of Intai-Intai.
