CHAPTER 308 – HENNESSY ARTISTRY EXPERIENCE IN PENANG 2012
Sep 5th

Was once again exclusively flown to the beautiful Penang island to attend one of the most happening ‘Hennessy Artistry’ of the year just one and a half month ago.
Many thanks to Hennessy and G2PR.

“Billed as the ‘party of the year’ Hennessy Artistry Halo was an event to be reckoned with. Masses of people arrived dressed in their best and ready for a night of mixing. JUICE came, saw, and was conquered….
The event was held at MIECC, a place that has had more work done than Heidi Montag, looked like a large scale version a night club ala Miami or Vegas. Decked out in red and black, flashing lights and other sparkly things, the main hall was split into two areas – the main area and the global art of mixing area.
In the global art of mixing area, there were activities such as DJ-ing, trying the many concoctions that Hennessy could be mixed with as well as a swanky picture area, to capture the memories that the free flowing beverages might try to erase.
The musical lineup exemplified the global art of mixing indeed, showcasing artists from east and west. The crowd was warmed up by DJ duo FoulWorks. People began to flow to the decked out stage as Deja Voodoospells rocked out. The hip hop loving crowd was more than excited when Mizz Nina graced the stage. Putting on a solid performance, the hit ‘What You Waiting For’ was a highlight for many. Hailed as the “Black Eyed Peas” of Taiwan, next up was Da Mouth. Their funky blend of mando-pop and hip hop was well-received by party go-ers.
The main act Kardinal Offishall burst on stage around midnight with a testosterone-fueled number. Maybe the free flow was kicking in or maybe this crowd of 4000-strong loves their Canadian rappers, because the atmosphere was electric. Afterwards DJ Alex Dreamz rocked the crowd into the wee hours. Whether you remember it or not, H-Artistry is one event that won’t soon be forgotten.”
…and LUCKY me! I was given VIP invites to the most awesome party this year round. Special thanks to Helen from Milk PR Agency.
Well then…
