Got introduced to the latest beauty toy that is easy to apply and fun to play with!

The Salon Effect Kit that includes 16 nail polish strips, a cuticle stick, and a pink mini file & buffer.

I decided to choose the “Wild Child” among all the other designs.

Two tiny packets of nail strips, eight each and sixteen altogether.

Smell E X A C T L Y like our normal nail polish.

Make sure your nails are clean and dry.

Select best-fitting strip for each nail. Then remove the clear protective plastic cover on the strip and peel the nail polish strip from the backing paper.

Choose the side of the strip that best fits the shape of your cuticles and stick it on top of your nail. Hold strip at the center for maximum control and gently stretch strip for a perfect fit. And then, firmly smooth over entire nail. Also, do not forget to run flat side of cuticle stick along edge of strip to firmly bond strip to nail.

Smooth excess over nail edge, forming a crease around the edge of the nail.

Gently file away excess from nail edge using light pink side of the file.

Voila!! My cute little wild child design.

Same goes to the second nail.

And all the other nails!

For a better and longer lasting effect, I applied the Sally Hansen “Dries Instantly” top coat.

And when it says dries “instantly”, the top coat did dry up within a minute after I applied it on the nails. It was amazing!

Spent a lovely afternoon having tea and tiramisu with pretty Bell few days ago. Completely love how Alexis at The Gardens is so quiet and cozy with a soothing tucked-away ambiance for Bell and I to just chill and do our own things. She was rushing a few advertorials on her blog while I was happily playing with my new toy that G gave me as an early birthday present. Hint: It’s a much bigger boy than my tiny little S90 that he gave me last birthday. =)

So, this is the first set of photos that I took. Still trying to figure out what are the buttons for, I’m such a shutter noob. Hopefully I can get hold of it as soon as I can and pamper you cupcakes with more gorgeous photos here *flips Nikon manual*.

Was modelling for the official launch of ASUS Eee Pad Transformer at GSC Signature, the Gardens yesterday as a featured blogger, together with my dearest Jocelyn Coco. To pose with a product for purposes of display and advertising in front of so many photographers is definitely not easy. And frankly, I think I suck at it. Was constantly worried that I might trip and fall with the tablet and screw up their historical event because I’m clumsy lke that. Luckily it was just for a short while and it went smoothly. However, it was indeed a fun experience! Of course, many thanks to ASUS Malaysia, Alan Yun, Sidney Kan and Camy Ling for having me. =)

Love Health Vegetarian Restaurant, Kota Damansara.

I couldn’t help but giggled when my parents were asking the restaurant owner to recommend some of their famous dishes, and she answered confidently : ” we’ve Assam fish which is really good, wild boars, prawns with salad sauce…”

At one point, I was like “wait. I thought we are having vegetarian?”

Olive Vegetables is my all time favourite ever since I was a little girl. Goes really well with porridge!

And we bought it at the restaurant itself to eat along with other dishes. Only at RM3.30.

After dinner, Edward having baby carrots for dessert. *crunch crunch whussup doc?*

This is my first time having a proper vegetarian food for dinner, ordering different kind of dishes, just like what we normally do in a chinese restaurant (except, no meat). And too my surprise, it was not disappointing at all. In fact, my family loves it so much we might go back for more the next time!

Needless to say, the best dish of the night goes to “Fish In Thai Style” or I would call it the “Assam Fish”. It was so good I am going to rate it a 9/10!! *double thumbs up* Not only the vegetarian fish was delicious (which somehow tasted a lil’ like otak-otak), the Thai Assam sauce that came with it was incredibly mouth-watering, especially to eat with my bowl of hot fluffy rice. Yumms!

And the bill sums up to a total of RM80.30, which I think was pretty reasonable. Okay, maybe a little too expensive since there wasn’t any “real” meat in it. But what the heck, at least the food is good. Go give it a try! =)

Friday the 13th.

It was the 21st Anniversary celebration of Malaysian Official Designer’s Association (MODA), held at The Gardens Hotel.

Was really excited and amazed to see all aspiring fashion professionals especially the designers themselves who have so much passion for fashion in creating all sorts of gorgeous fashion wear that made us all proud of the fashion scene in Malaysia.

Definitely supporting the home grown brand from now on. You should too! =)
