A gorgeous collaboration between the world legendary designer brand Versace and H&M that will be hitting the stores soon. Slim fit black leather dress to floral printed pants, this is going to be exciting.

My favourite piece would be the last picture where Abbey Lee is wearing the slightly sheer black dress with the flowy chiffon material. Not to mention the fierce and edgy statement collar necklace that is wrapped around her neck as well as the laced up pointy boots! Oh please just let me have those already.

It was a rush. Just got off work and I had to expeditiously head to Sunway Hotel for the once a year Malaysia International Gourmet Festival 2011 Gala Launch with my other half. I wasn’t very well prepared to be honest and I know very well all important guests will be dressing up their best – men in suits and women in gowns to attend this remarkable event in such beautiful evening. And besides, I didn’t even have time to go shop for new dresses lately.

It was an office wear, if you observed well enough. Fortuitously I remembered to grab some accessories out from the house before I went to work, hoping that it could help me look a wee bit more appropriate for the gala. Completely adore the necklace and earrings by the by, and one of my favourite colleague even thought that the pair of earrings look kind of like an “exclamation mark” from afar. Well it does, innit? ^.^

Got introduced to the latest beauty toy that is easy to apply and fun to play with!

The Salon Effect Kit that includes 16 nail polish strips, a cuticle stick, and a pink mini file & buffer.

The manual pack

I decided to choose the “Wild Child” among all the other designs.

Two tiny packets of nail strips, eight each and sixteen altogether.

Smell E X A C T L Y like our normal nail polish.

Make sure your nails are clean and dry.

Select best-fitting strip for each nail. Then remove the clear protective plastic cover on the strip and peel the nail polish strip from the backing paper.

Choose the side of the strip that best fits the shape of your cuticles and stick it on top of your nail. Hold strip at the center for maximum control and gently stretch strip for a perfect fit. And then, firmly smooth over entire nail. Also, do not forget to run flat side of cuticle stick along edge of strip to firmly bond strip to nail.

Smooth excess over nail edge, forming a crease around the edge of the nail.

Gently file away excess from nail edge using light pink side of the file.

Voila!! My cute little wild child design.

Same goes to the second nail.

And all the other nails!

For a better and longer lasting effect, I applied the Sally Hansen “Dries Instantly” top coat.

And when it says dries “instantly”, the top coat did dry up within a minute after I applied it on the nails. It was amazing!

I’ve been collecting Guinness Tees throughout the celebrations of St.Patrick’s Day and the legendary Arthur’s Day since last year. This tee is the one I love the most, with a “Merry Me” printed on it. The Arthur’s Day pre-parties I’ve attended last few weeks were awesome. Free flow of malty Guinness beer, and scrumptious Guinness-infused food that was specially served made me feel rather exclusive, joyfully knowing that Guinness loves and pampers its loyal fans at all times.

Anyway, it was merely a simply outfit that I was wearing. So I played along with my favourite leopard print scarf and a pair of dorky toy glasses. And of course, the messenger bag that I could not miss bringing to work every single day. I’m so loyal that way.

Thin bolts of light and tumultuous thunderstorm, it was raining cats and dogs when I was gonna leave work and head home. It’s already mid August, oh how time flies. Work has been fun so far, although it’s only two weeks, but I felt like I’ve already known my colleagues for years. They are too adorable, each and every one of them.
