Hola! Happy 2012 dearest readers!

I am truly sorry I have been missing in action for more than a month now due to some personal reasons that I have been going through not long ago. But to my surprise, I found out that readers are still constantly reading my blog and the traffic has not been dropping at all. That melts my heart really, you have no idea how touched and thankful I am to know that you guys are still here! :’)

OH-MY-GOD!

It’s been really really difficult for me to go through those suffering days last week knowing that my blog was NOT there anymore, completely vanished with a full page of the Domain Registrar advertising and asking net surfers if they were interested to buy domain names or not since yourEsty.com was EXPIRED. Technically, I can just renew the damn thing within seconds, but since mine was sponsored, I didn’t have the account to log in and pay.  Worst of all, I couldn’t find Jay – the guy who manages the domain and resides in US. I was radically LOST and helpless that time you have NO idea, wishing every second that I can teleport myself to Iowa straight and look for the missing Jay (and…you know, maybe do some traveling and shopping there after that heh ).

Repeating the whole story over and over again to those who concerned and asked (besides having all the ridiculous bubble thoughts) wasn’t helping much either. In fact, I almost got to the point where I was thinking of giving up. But NO, I can’t live without my little e-diary here I grasped. This is where my heart belongs most of the time. ALL of the time if I must admit.

So the story continues when I tweeted the Domain Registrar (where my domain name was bought) and seek for help. To my surprise, their customer service was pretty good. They asked for my number and called me within half an hour, from The States! I spoke to Corey, the guy who handled my case and he was incredibly nice guiding me step by step on what I should do to transfer to a new account. Even waited for me on the line while I was filling up the e-form. Kind of an awkward moment, since both of us weren’t talking.

So anyway, as I was waiting for the form to be processed within 3 days, guess who finally contacted me? Yeap…JAY!!! Super thrilled! Like, I can FINALLY SEE THE LIGHT and it is a HAPPY ENDING after all thank God!

Eah well…yourEsty.com is back alive and kickin’! *claps claps* I have so many outfit posts, food reviews, events and beauty advertorials to share with you and I don’t even know where to start now, uh-oh. All these pending posts will be coming up real soon I promise, but just bear with me a little if I couldn’t find the time to post an entry each day aite?

It’s been slightly difficult for me to post up a nice, long blog entry nowadays ever since I started work. Well, very difficult actually. Be it an advertorial, or any of my travel, food, and event posts. I always tell myself that I will start blogging when I’m back home after work, but then again, I always tend to feel extremely dead on my feet the moment I step into the house, and all I want is to just lie down on my bed and not move a single vein. Bummer.

Hence I’m gonna try my best to post up a short entry everyday. The least of it to keep you guys entertained with my daily little updates if you happen to drop by. =)

To Changkat Bukit Bintang!

Finally get to see my close friends after almost a month! We spent an amazing night together having lots of fun at Daikanyama, a Japanese bar restaurant located in the heart of the happening Changkat. Heard of this place before but never had the chance to try it until S decided to spend our Saturday night there. And did you know? “Daikanyama” means “Let’s all drink!” if you translate it in Cantonese. Didn’t realize it at first until the bestie told me that, and I was like “oh YEA!” Made it so much more easier for me to remember its name now.

Fun Love Share, Esty.

If you don’t know yet, I’m officially working now! As an Editor/Writer of this very fast-growing Korean company that runs their business online. Something very similar to what I love doing all this while – blogging. I never would have thought that yourEsty.com could attract the attention of any companies in the corporate world until the Head of Recruitment gave me a surprise call one day and asked if I was interested to join the family. And well here I am, my third day at work and it’s been fun so far. 

A new month, a new start, and a new job…

Hopefully a stepping stone to something greater in the future. Wish me luck!

I always love being casual and comfortable with what I wear. Dressing up can be really troublesome at times especially when I know I’m not going anywhere special. I wish I can get used to wearing gorgeous high heels every single day but it’s always so uncomfortable. Maybe I haven’t really found the right one yet. I’m pretty obsessed with those latest “Flatforms” or in another word, “Flat-platforms” nowadays. It is basically a pair of flats but with high platforms below it so it will make you look much taller without going through all the pain while walking for hours. I will probably blog about it soon so you can get a clearer picture or you can Google it yourself, whichever you like. Besides those flatforms, I’m also crazily eyeing on those Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes. So many different designs to choose from, I wish I can have all of them!

On the other hand, I’ve been pretty busy ever since I got back from Italy. With family, and with work. Advertorials are piling up and I still haven’t done any yet. There’s at least one food review per day especially when Bulan Ramadhan is just around the corner. I would really love to continue the “Summer in Italy” stories in my Travelbook but it might gonna take a while. Next week, hopefully? Well just stick around for me owhkay. Oh did I tell you that Part I has more than 10,000 views already? I’m so happy! Thank you so much you guys. Couldn’t have made it without all of you really. *much kisses*

And on a lighter note, I finally left the beautiful Italia and back to the motherland. In fact, I just landed in KL few hours ago and I must say again, Emirates Airline had been amazingly hospitable. Was pampered with delicious main courses, desserts and beverages throughout the flight, along with the entertaining new in-flight movies and comfortable blanket, I can’t possibly deny that I was the happiest flight potato during the 15hours long journey back. No wonder the coveted title as one of the World’s Best Airlines all along.

Anyway, enough of pizzas and pastas for two weeks already.

Wonder what is the first thing I should eat tomorrow. I miss the local food here, especially those hot soupy ones!

#1 “Colourblocking theme; A bright coloured top to be paired with leggings since colourblocking is 2011 Summer’s trend– might be wearing my reversible tops in midnight blue/fuchsia with coloured leggings. But dont worry, it;ll be subtle. i dont wanna walk around looking like a clown .”

#2 “Bohemian theme; Since it’ll be hot, i’ll wear a tube dress or maxi dress and match it up with straw hat and strappy/gladiator flats. Maybe put beads in my hair for a lil bit of Bohemian touch  like this.“

#3 “All-American theme; pair up a cropped tee with short jeans, and Converse, my H&M fringe bag and cat-eyed shades. Feathers in my hair for extra touch.“

The adorable designer of Gallo, Teresa Thian came and talk to us while we were doing our nails. Teresa graduated from Raffles Design Institute Kuala Lumpur in 2005. Instead of opting to complete her degree, she was fervent to bring her skills into the fashion world. She opened 1927 Design Sdn Bhd to produce her own lavel Gallo by Thian in September 2006. The name “Gallo” originates from the Italian translation of her Chinese name, Siew Lin. Teresa stands by her philosophy, which is to incorporate fashion into everyday lifestyle. Made mostly out of silk, her designs are created specifically to compliment the women’s silhouette yet be comfortable.

Can’t wait to have pretty nails soon! Oh did I mention it’s gelish and can last for more than a month? Yeeeeappp. *grins*
